A chance to learn about the Foundation of FC Barcelona and its work in 50+ countries
The Barça Foundation mission is to support children and youth from the most vulnerable groups through sports and education, for the purpose of contributing to a more egalitarian and inclusive society. The 3 pillars are: 1) prevention of the violence, 2) promotion of social inclusion, 3) access and reinforcement of education. Underpinning all the Barça Foundation programmes are the values of FC Barcelona: Respect, effort, ambition, teamwork and humility.
At the heart of the Barça Foundation programmes is a curriculum-based methodology called FutbolNet, first developed in 2012. FutbolNet is a social programme that teaches the FC Barcelona values and life skills education through sport. To date, FutbolNet has been delivered in over 50 countries worldwide involving over 1million children in the past ten years.
