Experience life skills through football with Football For All in Vietnam!
Coaches from Football for All in Vietnam will take you through activities that develop life skills through football, which they deliver with children and youth throughout Vietnam.
Football for All in Vietnam (FFAV) aims to build a sustainable network of non-competitive grassroots football clubs that integrate life skills around HIV/AIDS prevention, the risks of explosive remnants of war, and hygiene into football activities. The organisation targets young people from all backgrounds with an emphasis on including typically marginalized children. All clubs must have a fifty percent female participation rate.
1. NGUYEN THI HOA:
My name is Hoa. I have been working for FFAV for nearly 10 years. I am very proud to be part of FFAV's family who has been working hard during the past 16 years to promote inclusive and non-competitive football with life skills integration in schools which resulted in them staying in school, reducing the dropout rate.
My job with FFAV engages mostly on marketing, fundraising and networking. Therefore, it is my privilege to join the Football Festival where I will be able to connect with other members of football family for learning and exchange.
2. PHAN THI THU HUONG:
I am Huong and I have been engaging with Football for All in Vietnam for more than 10 years. Currently I am in charge of program and life skill department and working directly with the community in order to inspire and provide technical support to promote sustainable grassroot football clubs for children regardless gender, age, and background. I love my job very much and be proud to be a part of the journey.
I am married and have two sons. My sons love football very much and they do play twice a week. I love football too, but I cannot play football well. I love travelling, learning new things and networking with new friends/ colleagues. I am excited to France to see new friends, share our culture and learn from friends of football bodies/agencies.
3. HUA THI TO NGA:
My name is Hua Thi To Nga. I am 36 years old; I am married and have 2 children. I am now a physical teacher at Phu Mau Secondary school, Phu Vang district, Thua Thien Hue province. I love sports and often participate into life skill activities. I am a social, energetic person and love to explore and learn new things, but I am in a manner of full responsibility in working.
4. HOANG THI THANH THUY:
My name is Hoang Thanh Thuy. I am 35 years old, married and have one daughter. I am a physical teacher at Huong Van Primary school in A Luoi district. The school where I am working has the most children who have difficult life situations. However, they are good students and love to play sports, especially football. I have a strong interest in Taekwondo and love to play sports. I often play chess when I have time. I am an open minded person, sense of humour and full responsibility in working.
5. TON THI HOAI MO
My name is Ton Thi Hoai Mo and I was born on 25th September 1981. I am now a physical teacher at Thuy Bang secondary school in Huong Thuy district, Thua Thien Hue province. I am married and have one son and one daughter. I am a straightforward, honest, modest person and I am creative in working. I love to play sports such as football, badminton and swimming. I often play football and swimming with children every afternoon. I also love travelling and exploring new things and places.
6. PHAN THI THUY MAY
My name is Phan Thi Thuy May and I am 35 years old. I was graduated from Sport University in Da Nang and now I am working as a physical teacher at Phuong Duc Primary School for 12 years. I am married and have 2 children. I love to play sports especially football. I love meeting people, sharing football stories and teaching experience with other colleagues.
7. HO THI MINH THUONG:
My name is Ho Thi Minh Thuong and I was born in 30th October 1983. I am working as a physical teacher at Loc Bon Secondary school, Phu Loc district, Thua Thien Hue province. I am married and have 2 sons. I am a modest, honest and straight forward person and especially have high sense of responsibility in working. I love sports therefore I play badminton very morning and play football with my students very often. I also love travelling.
8. DO THI NGOC CHAM:
I am Cham - Do Thi Ngoc Cham. I am a former national football player. I was awarded Vietnam Golden Football in 2008, excellent female football player and best scorer of Vietnam from 2007 to 2011 and I am now the ambassador of grassroot football of Vietnam.
I am a football coach and Director of a Community Football Centre which is providing trainings and practice for children from the age of 5 to 15 in Hanoi. I hope football can connect everybody from all over the world regardless age, gender and wealthy condition. Football connects passion and I love football.
