Coach Education with Coaches Across Continents

  • Groupama OL Academy 8 Rue Mélina Mercouri 69330 Meyzieu France (map)

TWO SESSIONS

5:30 - 7:00 pm

7:00 - 8:30 pm

Introduction to Purposeful Play and Education Outside the Classroom - prioritizing games that are fun, provoke critical thinking and team problem-solving, and allow us to explore a broad range of relevant social issues so the group can share what themes are most important for their lives and communities. In one hour we would play 3-4 games with or without equipment focusing on themes like: communication, problem-solving, conflict prevention, asking questions, and having fun.

Participants will take away knowledge and skills to enhance their work in communities and/or gain tools to use play/football as a method of stimulating dialogue and building community. They will also have fun learning about other participating teams/players at the event and exploring a different side of the game we all love!
